About The Position

The Accounts Receivable Specialist collaborates with the Accounts Receivable Supervisor to resolve disputes and reduce customer aging accounts within specified timelines. They work closely with both internal and external customers to ensure customer satisfaction through timely updates on account status.

Requirements

• Associate's degree
• Prior experience with ERP systems
• Understanding of basic principles of finance, accounting and bookkeeping
• Proficiency in Microsoft products such as Word, Outlook, and Excel
• Experience with Microsoft NAV is a plus
• Detail oriented and highly organized
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to handle sensitive information and maintain confidentiality

Responsibilities

• Monitor and collect accounts receivable by contacting clients via telephone, email, and mail.
• Maintain accounts receivable records to ensure aging is up to date, credits and collections are applied, uncollectible amounts are accounted for, and miscellaneous differences are cleared.
• Primary focus placed on AR Tier A3, B4, C5, with others as assigned by management.
• Meet weekly/monthly KPI goals as outlined by management.
• Monitor the health of an assigned Accounts Receivable portfolio using, among other tools, analytical and ratio analysis and reporting via BillTrust platform.
