About The Position

The AR Processing Intern is responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations of the AR Processing team. This role focuses on the accurate and timely entry of customer data, management of customer portal requirements, setting up of new billing portals, and resolution of invoice rejections. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and committed to maintaining high standards of data integrity and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Customer Account Management: Accurately set up and maintain customer accounts in accordance with company standards and customer-specific requirements.
  • Portal Administration: Manage set-up and ongoing maintenance of customer billing portals, including monitoring for updates, implementing changes, and ensuring compliance with customer specifications.
  • Invoice Submission: Collaborate with the Billing team to ensure timely and accurate submission of invoices through various platforms and portals, adhering to customer-specific guidelines.
  • Rejection Management: Investigate and resolve rejected or disputed invoices by collaborating with internal departments and communicating with customers as needed.
  • Process Documentation: Maintain thorough documentation of portal requirements, account configurations, and processing workflows.
  • Data Integrity: Perform regular audits to ensure accuracy of account and billing information; correct discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the AR Processing Manager and cross-functional teams (Sales, Service, and Billing) to ensure seamless integration and resolution of processing issues.
  • Continuous Improvement: Participate in ongoing process improvement initiatives, contributing ideas to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and overall workflow performance.
  • Reporting Support: Assist in the preparation and analysis of reports related to processing accuracy, portal performance, and invoice status.
  • Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner
