We’re looking for an Augmented Reality Engineer intern to join our team!

Requirements

  • Ability to program highly interactive experiences independently on mobile platforms
  • Proficiency programming in JavaScript, TypeScript, or similar languages (C#, C++, etc.).
  • Interest in the Augmented Reality field
  • Great communication and project management skills; ability to work in a team
  • Working towards a BS or an MS degree in fields such as interactive design, video game development, spatial computing, etc.
  • Still continuing school in Fall 2026.
  • Experience working with digital content creation tools (2D, 3D, etc)
  • A creative portfolio is required for this role

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with a 3D game engine like Unity or Unreal
  • Experience with Lens Studio
  • Experience designing, prototyping, and programming with real-time 3D engines, including but not limited to Unity, Unreal, Three.js, OpenFrameworks, Processing, and WebGL/OpenGL.
  • Understanding of 3D graphics concepts and familiarity with 3D packages (Blender, Maya, 3ds Max, or Cinema4D).

Responsibilities

  • Own the development of new interactive experiences from prototype to product release
  • Work closely with other teams to bring your features to Lens creators
  • Push the boundaries of our AR platform and pave the way for external developers to easily do work at these boundaries.
