About The Position
The AR Credit Analyst position at Pana-Pacific involves a variety of essential duties and responsibilities focused on the management of accounts receivable. The primary function of this role is to perform collection functions and account reconciliation for all assigned accounts. This includes creating payment remittance application details and making necessary adjustments to accounts receivable. The analyst will be responsible for researching and analyzing any discrepancies or variances that arise on assigned accounts, ensuring that all financial records are accurate and up-to-date. In addition to these core responsibilities, the AR Credit Analyst will maintain and update the credit application log, set up newly approved customer accounts, and review all credit memos generated by the company for errors or validity. The role also requires obtaining debit memo copies from assigned customers upon request and reviewing sales orders that are on credit hold, releasing them as appropriate. Weekly reviews of all customers on credit hold will be conducted, with reports provided to the supervisor. Customer service is a key component of this position, as the analyst will respond to all customer inquiries, requests, and discrepancies in a timely manner. The role also involves capturing credit card payments and maintaining a daily log of these transactions, as well as creating invoices and credits when necessary. The analyst is expected to maintain a clean and organized work area, adhere to ISO, IATF, and other applicable procedures, and follow all safety requirements as per company policies and Cal-OSHA regulations. Punctuality and regular attendance are emphasized, along with compliance with federal and state regulations concerning safety and employment. The analyst may also be required to perform other duties as assigned.
