About The Position

Overview Supervise the daily operation of the Aquatics Department by maintaining the highest standards of safety, service, and cleanliness.

Requirements

  • Minimum Age: 18
  • Must be able to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Typical weekly schedule includes at least 5 shifts. Must have availability during pre-season training as well.
  • Must obtain, and maintain a Lifeguard Instructor license. This includes passing all applicable certification tests.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Excellent leadership skills
  • Basic Computer and math skills
  • Must be willing to work outdoors in various weather conditions
  • Must be professional, self-motivated, the ability to multi-task and have an enthusiastic attitude
  • Must have strong teamwork skills and the ability to work with others

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience at an aquatics facility is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate Leadership schedules, In-service trainings, and department trainings.
  • Internal auditing of programs and procedures.
  • Assist with Guest concerns and questions.
  • Monitor operating expense budgets.
  • Coordinate employee relations activities.
  • Review incident reports.
  • Serve as the Aquatics Duty Manager in the absence of the Aquatics Full-Time Supervisor, ensuring the highest safety standards are maintained.
  • Provide an environment that motivates and encourages staff retention.
  • Other duties as deemed necessary by Full-Time Management.
