Associated Students, Inc. employs student-focused professionals with equity-mindsets. Established in 1963, Associated Students, Inc. (ASI) is a non-profit corporation guided by a student board and managed by full-time professional staff. ASI is a part of the Cal Poly Pomona Division of Student Affairs with a dashed reporting line to Administrative Affairs. ASI serves the entire campus population, including over 26,000 students, by providing opportunities for student engagement, student employment, and a multitude of programs and services such as recreation and wellness, student union and activities, student government, and childcare. ASI operational support areas include human resources, financial services, information technology, facilities management, and marketing. The Bronco Recreation and Intramural Complex (BRIC) Aquatics team plays a huge role in the operations of the BRIC Pool and Lounge area. The team consists of staff who assist with the day-to-day operations by providing aquatic safety during all operating hours of the pool. Aquatics offers instructional activity programs and certification courses for students to partake. The team also focuses on creating a fun, safe, and exciting programs and special events for campus community members to enjoy. Aquatics provides an opportunity to develop strong leadership skills, professional development, work in a team environment, and be part of a great organization. Under minimal supervision from the Aquatics Manager, the Aquatics Supervisor Programs provides supervision of the Aquatics Instructor team and directly supports the Aquatics Manager in aquatic events and program development and implementation. The Aquatics Supervisor of Programs performs routine and complex assignments requiring specialized knowledge, prior relevant experience, and considerable independent judgment and decision-making. The Aquatics Supervisor of programs supervises Aquatic Instructors, collaborates, and regularly interacts with program area, department, and ASI team members. Must be available to attend all mandatory trainings, meetings, and in-services.
