Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED Preferred
• 2 years of experience supervising aquatic facilities and activities
• Lifeguard Certification
• Ellis Instructors Certification
• First Aid/CPR/AED

Responsibilities

• Recruit, train, and certify lifeguards to Ellis & Associates ILTP standards, track certifications, and document training.
• Develop and conduct training seminars, provide learning resources, and offer feedback to build leadership skills in supervisors and staff.
• Manage staff schedules, assist with performance evaluations, and order supplies as needed.
• Handle guest and staff issues professionally, resolve problems quickly, and ensure excellent service recovery.
• Forecast budgets, approve time, and manage cash at Shavers Lake retail store.
• Support Shavers Lake expansion, ensure equipment and facilities are well-maintained, and oversee the overall look of the area.
• Promote business through community engagement and marketing, monitor guest activity, and use established recovery guidelines.
• Adhere to maintenance schedules, security policies, and perform operational tasks such as laundry and guest hospitality.
