The American Swim Academy® is hiring in the East Bay! We are looking for a dynamic, career-oriented Aquatics Manager to join our senior management team in Newark. The Aquatics Manager will be responsible for assisting Senior Management in the operation of the facility. Your duties include swim instruction, member service, deck management, and special projects. Schedule: Tuesday - Saturday or Sunday—Thursday. The schedule will vary with opening and closing shifts. You must be able to work some nights as late as 8:45 p.m. American Swim Academy® has been the Bay Area's trusted swim instruction facility for 50 years. Member schools are independently owned and operated. Your application will go directly to the member school, and all hiring decisions will be made by the management of this school. Requirements

  • Service-driven management experience
  • Experience in aquatics or recreation

Responsibilities

  • Be the point of contact between management, staff, and members
  • Responsible for assisting in the management and training of all school staff
  • Responsible for teaching classes and in-water training
