About The Position
This recruitment may be used to fill up to 70 seasonal positions with no benefits. Spokane County Aquatic Facilities are typically open from mid-June through mid-August, with staff training beginning in late May. All positions require successful clearance of a WA State Patrol inquiry under the Child and Adult Abuse Information Act. The hourly wage ranges from $16.91 to $18.31 per hour depending on experience. If a certified American Red Cross Water Safety Instructor (WSI), the hourly wage increases by $1.00 per hour. Duties may include ensuring the safety of facility patrons, responding to emergencies, enforcing facility policies, inspecting the facility, completing records and reports, participating in training, maintaining fitness levels, and assisting with the Learn to Swim program.
