Our Lead Instructor & Front Desk Supervisor is a keyholder position responsible for delivering high-quality swim instruction, supervising daily operations, supporting staff, and providing excellent customer service. Each Goldfish Swim School is an independently owned and operated franchise. The respective Franchisee is the employer at each Goldfish Swim School location. Each franchisee can set their own wages, benefit programs and terms and conditions of employment, which may vary at each Goldfish Swim School location.

Requirements

  • Prior experience in swim instruction, aquatics, or recreation preferred
  • Leadership or supervisory experience a plus
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • CPR/AED and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
  • Reliable, responsible, and able to work independently
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Ability to enter the pool and demonstrate swimming techniques
  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs

Responsibilities

  • Swim Instruction Provide safe, engaging, and effective swim lessons to students of various ages and skill levels Follow established curriculum and adapt lessons to individual student needs Maintain a safe learning environment and enforce pool safety rules
  • Supervision & Leadership Serve as a keyholder responsible for opening and closing the facility Supervise swim instructors and front desk staff during assigned shifts Ensure staff follow policies, procedures, and safety standards
  • Front Desk & Customer Service Greet and assist families with scheduling, registration, payments, and general inquiries Handle phone calls, emails, and in-person communication professionally Resolve customer concerns promptly and positively
  • Operations & Safety Monitor pool safety and respond to emergencies according to training Ensure cleanliness and organization of the facility Communicate maintenance or operational issues to management
