About The Position

Aquatic Educators at Small Fish Big Fish Swim School will be responsible for conducting swim lessons for multiple clients of different ages and skill levels. Your application will go directly to the member school, and all hiring decisions will be made by the management of this school. Requirements

  • Must be able to work a minimum of two days weekdays and one weekend day.
  • Water Safety Instructor certification
  • Lifeguard/CPR Certification
  • At least 1- 3 years of experience with Swim Instruction, Education, and/or Aquatics.
  • Ability to Walk and Stand for long periods of time
  • Ability to squat, bend, reach, and climb frequently
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds frequently

Responsibilities

  • Organize and instruct individual students and small groups in swim lessons and aquatic safety. This includes babies and me, preschool aquatics, and six levels of learn-to-swim courses (guppies, minnows, goldfish, barracudas, dolphins, sharks).
  • Lift and maneuver students to educate them on proper technique throughout the lesson.
  • Follow Small Fish Big Fish methods and techniques for daily instruction.
  • Act as a company spokesperson at community events by educating potential clients and community members on water safety and drowning prevention.
