About The Position

Under general supervision, will perform duties such as safety enforcement, greeting patrons, and janitorial services.

Requirements

• Basic Aquatic facility structure.
• English usage, spelling, grammar, and punctuation.
• Work independently in the absence of supervision.
• Respond to requests and inquiries from the public.
• Understand and carry out oral and written directions.
• Communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing.
• Maintain physical condition appropriate to the performance of assigned duties and responsibilities which may include the following: Swimming requirements to maintain ability to assist with Learn to Swim Lessons. General lifting of no more than 50 pounds with assistance of other employees. Ability to climb stairs and ladders to elevated guard chairs.

Nice To Haves

• One (1) or more years of customer service experience
• First Aid/CPR/AED certification

Responsibilities

• Enforce facility rules to ensure a safe environment. Duty stations include slide area, door greeting, and spray park and boat rentals.
• Assist with Learn to Swim Lessons. Wearing the appropriate swimsuit and entering the pool is required.
• Check pool deck area for hazards by completing pool safety checklist and reporting/documenting any/all unsafe conditions found.
• Pick up and dispose of all trash on/or around the pool deck and on facility grounds, straighten all deck furniture as needed.
• Return any lost and found equipment or items to the front desk personnel.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as required.
