About The Position
The North Carolina Aquarium at Pine Knoll Shores is seeking an Aquaculture Technician to assist the full-time husbandry staff. This is an 11-month temporary position with a maximum of 40 hours per week, classified as temporary/part-time and does not include state benefits. The technician will be responsible for various tasks related to the care and maintenance of fish and invertebrates at the Aquarium, including public speaking and interacting with visitors. Weekend and holiday work will be a significant component of this position.
