Aqua Sculpt Group Fitness Instructor, NYC
About The Position
We are currently seeking experienced and enthusiastic Hydro Group Fitness Instructors to lead innovative and engaging hydro sculpt water-based classes. This role requires a strong background in aqua group fitness instruction, a commitment to safety, and the ability to create inclusive and motivating classes for members of all fitness levels. Availability includes multiple day parts during the week Teaches a minimum of two weekly classes Lead safe, effective, and high-energy aqua classes Provide modifications and progressions as needed Engage with members before and after class to build continuously build community Ensure a safe environment through proper supervision and use of equipment Collaborate with the Group Fitness Manager to maintain programming excellence Pay Transparency: $65-$75 per class; $17.00/hr for non-class hours
Requirements
- Certified Group Fitness Instructor (ACE, AFAA, or equivalent)
- Aqua-specific certification (AEA, SCW, or equivalent) preferred
- CPR/AED certification (required or willing to obtain)
- Previous experience teaching aqua or water fitness classes
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
