About The Position

As an Aquatic Fitness Instructor you will be responsible for instructing group exercise classes in accordance with class description set by Regional Group Fitness Manager. You will join a motivating and diverse team that prides itself on building relationships and community. At FFC you’ll be working side by side with the best fitness professionals in the business. Position: Aqua Aerobics Instructor Job Type: Part-time Location: FFC Park Ridge and FFC Elmhurst (please specify which club you're interested in) Compensation: $50-70 per class/session (depending on experience and certifications) Please note: This is not a swimming instructor position. Requirements

Certification as a Group Fitness Instructor by a nationally-recognized organization
Certified in field of specialty in Aquatic
Current CPR/AED Certification
1+ years of teaching experience

Responsibilities

Arrive at class at least 10 minutes prior to the start of the scheduled class
Begin and end class on time
Instruct classes (including a warm-up, conditioning and cool down phase) in specialization and as assigned by Group Fitness Manager and/or Fitness Director
Provide instruction and coaching to class attendees
Accurately record class participation and conduct class surveys
Ensure that pool area is clean and returned to original state at the end of each class
