About The Position

As an APX Manager, Project Sourcing & Procurement you will solicit quotations and analyze contract proposals associated with service, equipment and materials. Negotiate pricing, delivery, terms and conditions to satisfy financial, quality and delivery requirements with suppliers. Process purchase orders within limits of authority, and SCM policies. You will report to the Manager - AP1000 Electrical Category and be located at our Cranberry Township, PA location. This is a hybrid role requiring you to be in the office 2 days a week.

Requirements

  • BA in Business or BS in Technical major
  • 5-10 years experience in nuclear industry procurement
  • Familiarity with NQA-1 and ISO Certifications
  • Knowledge of ASME procurement classification

Nice To Haves

  • Previous AP1000 experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Develop working relationships with suppliers and internal partners to maintain sources of supply. Identify standard engineering, quality and administrative issues, assisting with resolution to fulfill internal and external procurement requirements.
  • Identify and obtain cost improvements of purchased materials and services.
  • Obtain training and acquire additional knowledge to ensure compliance with nuclear regulatory requirements and enhance personal growth.
  • Coordinate and expedite material deliveries.
  • Knowledge of procedure development and corrective action systems.
  • Proficient in use of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Access. Knowledge of SAP.
  • Support the Supply Chain Management departmental goals and WEC Corporate vision as defined by upper Management.
