Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 3 years injection molding experience required
  • 2 + years of leadership and or supervisory experience strongly preferred
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs.
  • Ability to stand, sit and walk up to 90% of shift
  • Ability to bend, stoop, reach, push, pull, grab, and climb as needed.

Nice To Haves

  • Mechanical aptitude
  • Ability to work on Microsoft Office, Word, Excel
  • Basic SAP knowledge
  • Knowledge of inspection technicians

Responsibilities

  • Support and maintain all policies of the company including but not limited to ISO Standards, Health and Safety Requirements, Continuous Improvement as well as standard work procedures
  • Monitor customer specification sheets and appropriate processing sheets
  • Ensure responses to corrective action requests are accurate, complete and timely
  • Supervise and maintain housekeeping, 5S standards and Autonomous Maintenance activities
  • Supervise and assist in mold set ups and start-ups
  • Coordinate production reports
  • Delegate responsibilities to technicians and other employees, when applicable
  • Organize meetings for all employees to facilitate communication and resolve issues
  • Coordinate all employee training
  • Maintain attendance records
  • Take necessary corrective or disciplinary actions with subordinates as necessary
  • Document all employee conflicts or problems and forward to the Production Manager or Human Resources
  • Daily scheduling of operators
  • Coordinate the issuing of tool repair request and maintenance work orders
  • Supervise all production employees
  • Other duties as assigned
