About The Position

Pratt & Whitney is seeking an energetic forward thinker to support our Military Engines (ME) Auxiliary Power unit (APU) Aftermarket team as an APU Materials Program Manager. This individual contributor role is a great opportunity for someone with knowledge of the material requirements planning (MRP) process and knowledge of project and supply chain management. This individual will interface with internal and external organizations for successful material alignment, material sourcing, and DPAS compliance. The APU program is dependent on multiple RTX entities; this individual will work as liaison to drive materials resolutions through these RTX inter-entities. Strong analytical skills, ability to learn new systems quickly, capability to prioritize daily tasks, and ability to work independently under pressure on multiple projects are all critical to success in this role.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree with 8 years of spares, project, or operations management, engineering, and/or supply chain experience.
  • Or an Advanced Degree with 5 years' of spares, project, or operations management, engineering, and/or supply chain experience.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.

  • Experience in SQL, VBA, and PowerBI, and/or Microsoft tools.
  • Strong understanding of supply chain and materials.

Responsibilities

  • Create, manage and execute material program strategy to ensure customer supportability and performance from the front end of the business through contract closure.
  • Identify and mitigate supply chain and warehouse roadblocks and drive resolutions.
  • Work with DT resources on a new AI tool implementation for the full APU program; which will become a key tool used for manage key allocation decisions amongst Spares, Engines and MRO.
  • Work with the team to identify and track leading indicators within the APU Aftermarket key material processes.
  • Provide support to the West Palm Beach engine for material planning on nonmachine assemblies (NMAs).
  • Support the Global Supply Chain team in the APU material strategy including supplier visits, material initiatives, FAI process management, QN priority.
  • Work as liaison to drive material resolutions through RTX inter-entities.
