The University of Texas at Arlington ( UTA ) invites applications for four full-time Academic Professional Teaching ( APT ) faculty positions in its Computer Science and Engineering ( CSE ) Department ( http://www.cse.uta.edu ). These openings are for positions that start in the Fall 2025 semester. These APT positions can be at the ranks of lecturer, senior lecturer; or assistant/associate/full professor of instruction. The successful candidates are expected to have strong teaching and communication skills and should have the technical capabilities and knowledge to teach undergraduate and/or graduate courses in one or more specialization areas of computer science, software engineering, or computer engineering. For these two openings, preference will be given to qualified applicants who can teach classes in one or more of the following areas: computer engineering, data science, information security, game design, graphics, compilers, and artificial intelligence. We will accept applications until all positions are filled, but priority will be given to candidates who apply before January 31, 2025.
