About The Position

The Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN)/Physician Assistant (PA) in the Behavioral Health Service Line Inpatient Unit will augment the psychiatrist’s ability to provide medical services to patients – collect and document data, conduct diagnostic procedures, order and schedule laboratory studies and professional consultations, and provide direct patient care services.

Requirements

• APRN Graduate of an accredited nursing program with a Master's Degree in Nursing
• Current and valid Registered Nurse License in the State of Arkansas
• APRN License (PMHNP - Psychiatry Specialty)
• National Certification as an APRN
• PA Master's Degree in Physician Assistant studies
• Physician Assistant Certificate of Registration with the Arkansas Medical Board
• Physician Assistant Certificate by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants
• Both Prescriptive authority and DEA license must be obtained after hire
