About The Position

Practicing OB/GYN is seeking a dedicated and skilled Physician Assistant (PA-C) or Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) to join our team and help expand women's health services. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated APP with a strong interest in women's health to work closely with an experienced physician and a supportive clinical team in a collaborative clinical environment. This position generally follows a Monday through Friday schedule (8am-5pm). Candidates must be available for occasional after-hours phone calls and hospital rounding. Prior experience in OB, Urology or GYN required.

Requirements

BLS certification required.
Prior experience in OB, Urology or GYN required.

Responsibilities

Providing comprehensive primary healthcare to adult & adolescent patients, including ordering and evaluating diagnostic tests within the scope of practice
Accurately perform history and physical examinations
Consults, co-manages and refers patients as appropriate
Prescribes medications as delegated in protocol and procedures
Completes necessary documentation in a timely manner
Writes orders for medications, treatments, tests & IV fluids consistent with scope of practice of the physician and PA
Providing assessment of patients medical, physical & psychological status
Documents examination results & records progress notes and provides continuity of care
Open to learning pessary fittings and maintenance, biopsies, implantable contraception modalities, pelvic floor therapy & pelvic floor diagnostic testing
