Learn more about living in Kansas City Benefits Highlights: Children's Mercy Benefits Guide Relocation available for eligible candidates Benefits from Day One APRN Clinical Ladder Program Tuition Assistance Program Overview Division of Pediatric Endocrinology and Diabetes at Children's Mercy Proficiently provides comprehensive, evidence-based advanced practice nursing care based on the physiologic, psychosocial, and developmental needs of patients and families within the framework of the collaborative practice agreement for patient populations in the following settings : Provide inpatient Endocrinology care and assist with consults and care management for children with a variety of Endocrine diagnoses at Children's Mercy The Advanced Practice Registered Nurse I (APRN-I) provides comprehensive, evidence-based advanced practice nursing to address the physiologic, psychosocial, and developmental needs of patients and families within the framework of the collaborative practice agreement. The APRN-I participates in beginning leadership, evidenced-based practice/ research, and organizational development activities with the support and direction of an experienced APRN mentor. Requirements

Master's Degree Required and 1-2 years experience Pediatric RN experience. Exceptions considered on a case-by-case basis within preferred specialty.
One of the following: Licensed RN - MO, Registered Nurse Multistate License Missouri required upon hire
One of the following: Licensed RN - Kansas, Registered Nurse Multistate License Kansas required upon hire
RN Compact license for all states besides KS and MO
APRN KS Advanced Practice Registered Nurse KS APRN license in Kansas Required Upon Hire
APRN MO Advanced Practice Registered Nurse MO APRN documentation of Recognition in Missouri Required Upon Hire
APRN board certification congruent with population and practice setting (see policy statement: Advanced Practice Registered Nurse Roles and Practice Setting) Required Upon Hire
Refer to Nursing and Advanced Practice Provider Licensure and Certification policy for required Life Support Certifications Required Upon Hire
PNP-Acute Care will be required candidate will have two years to enroll/be accepted in a program and five years to complete the program
