Your Key ResponsibilitiesTool & Die Maker: Machine Tool Technolgy Apprentice Program provides apprentices in setup and operation of all standard machine tools for the purpose of manufacturing precision parts. A tool and die maket apprentice will be trained in the areas of mathematics, blueprint reading, CAD, metals, and computer numerical control Rotate in departments related to the trade to complete 7,000 on-the-job training hours and successfully complete related classroom instruction specific to the trade. Work closely with a Professional in conducting preventative maintenance and corrective maintenance of the building, machinery, and equipment Complete work orders in a timely and efficient manner under the supervision of a journeyperson, attends classes as required for apprenticeship, and troubleshoots equipment Requires a highly motivated individual who is willing to learn and apply acquired skills Overtime as well as weekend and holdiay work hours are requiredYour QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent Mechanical and Electrical aptitude and knowledge Hands-on learner Enthusiastic about their career in skilled trades Excellent communication ability (written & verbal) Positive work ethic Problem solvin skills.As a global company with employees around the world, it is important to us that we treat each other with respect and value all ideas and perspectives.
