As an Apprentice Technician, you will diagnose and perform repairs on all vehicle components under the direction of a senior or master Technician. Safety: Understand and comply with all federal, state, and local regulations that affect shop operations, such as handling and disposal of hazardous waste, OSHA, and the use of safety and health personal protective equipment. Requirements

  • Knowledge of automotive systems

  • Ability to use technical reference materials and technical manuals
  • Ability to wear all required safety and health personal protective equipment, including respirator, in the manner recommended by the equipment manufacturer
  • Ability to take direction from multiple senior employees and prioritize
  • Ability to work well in a team environment
  • Outstanding attention to detail with a commitment to quality
  • Ability to follow processes to ensure quality and safety
  • Ability to communicate technical terms to non-technical audience
  • Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information
  • Ability to maintain a positive attitude during the training period while learning at a fast pace
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • A recent graduate of a vocational program in automotive repair.
  • Valid Driver's License

Nice To Haves

  • A.A or equivalent vocational certification in automotive repair.
  • A combination of education and experience to equal certification and one or more years' experience.
