About The Position

Rite-Hite Service Technicians install, maintain, and repair loading dock equipment and industrial doors at customer facilities. In addition, Service Technicians act as a technical resource for our customers and our sales force. This position works independently or in small teams in a field service environment, and is a primary customer contact. As an apprentice, you will spend the majority of your time working closely with a senior Technician, learning our products and our customers and developing the skills needed to work on your own.

Requirements

  • Some prior mechanical or electrical experience is helpful.
  • Ability to work independently in a field environment.
  • Good customer service skills.
  • Ability to work outdoors and at heights.
  • Ability to lift up to 100 pounds.
  • Clean driving record and ability to pass a pre-employment drug test and DOT physical.

  • Install, maintain, and repair loading dock equipment and industrial doors at customer facilities.
  • Act as a technical resource for customers and the sales force.
  • Work independently or in small teams in a field service environment.
  • Develop skills needed to work independently as a technician.
