About The Position

Avenger Flight Group (AFG) is seeking an Apprentice Simulator Maintenance Technician to join our team at the largest Flight Training Center in Fort Lauderdale, FL. This entry-level position is designed for individuals with some aviation experience or education, providing an opportunity for rapid career advancement. The Apprentice Sim Tech will assist experienced Sim Techs in delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining simulator equipment.

Requirements

• Familiarity with the use of various types of test equipment and hand/special tools.
• Aviation or avionics experience and/or college/technical education in an aviation specialty required.
• Strong technical aptitude and computer skills.
• Familiarity with avionics and navigational concepts.
• Ability to climb stairs, bend, stoop, and stand for long periods of time.
• Ability to work any shift in a 24/7 operation.

Nice To Haves

• Minimum of a student pilot's license.
• Avionics experience.
• Veteran status.

Responsibilities

• Interact with customers in a timely and professional manner to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Perform routine cleaning, sanitizing, and maintenance tasks on the simulators.
• Perform standard technical tasks including corrective maintenance.
• Utilize QMS to record and track maintenance activities.
• Perform pre-flight and post-flight tasks on the simulators.
• Assist with refurbishment and hardware modifications.
