Apprentice Service Technician - Woodland, CA
About The Position
Apprentice Service Technicians are responsible for performing the truck repairs listed below. Technicians create repair plans and fill out parts requisitions for needed parts. They are also responsible for tagging all warranty parts that are replaced and for turning in parts with core value. Technicians must also communicate updates to their Foreman daily and must maintain toolboxes organized and workstations clean and safe. Apprentice Technician is an entry-level technician who is eager and motivated to learn service department operations and technician’s duties. Lots of training will be provided which includes shadowing one of the master techs. Job Duties: Performs oil changes Performs diesel particulate filter cleanings Performs brake inspections and works on brakes Performs general maintenance of the service department including sweeping, cleaning and other maintenance tasks as needed
Requirements
- Completion of a technician training course or equivalent work knowledge required
- High school diploma or the equivalent
- Mechanical aptitude
- Positive attitude
- Motivated
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.
- Must be able to pass post offer drug test, and physical
