Fowler Chevrolet is searching for an Apprentice Service Advisor—someone who is equally as comfortable greeting customers as they are scheduling appointments, shuttling vehicles and acting as a liaison between our customers and our service technicians.

  • Schedules service appointments. Obtains customer and vehicle data prior to arrival when possible.
  • Attitude is everything—greet service department customers promptly and courteously.
  • Calls to schedule special order parts appointments.
  • Schedule and file claims for glass claims.
  • Operate customer shuttle and Service Porter work load for moving and locating service vehicles as needed.
  • Develop skills as an advisor and work Saturday business.
  • Assist with writing shop purchase orders and used car repair orders.
  • Writes up customer's vehicle problems accurately and clearly on repair order.
  • Test drives the vehicle with customer as needed to confirm the problem or refers to test technician.
  • Refers to service history, inspects vehicle, and recommends additional needed service.
  • Handles telephone inquiries regarding appointments and work in process.
  • Report any customer concerns to Service Manager.
  • Valid Driver's License and MVR acceptable to our Insurance Carrier
