About The Position
Way Mechanical is a mechanical contractor located in San Antonio, Austin, Dallas, Houston and Nashville. We specialize in commercial air conditioning, plumbing, piping, and the maintenance of these systems. Way Mechanical is at the forefront of design-build/design assist, preconstruction, commissioning, building information modeling, and quality control. Way Mechanical is currently in need of a plumbing apprentice to join our team!
Requirements
- Apprentice License
- Able to stand, lift, put together, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50 lbs. without assistance.
- Reliable transportation
- Tools of your trade
- Always committed to safety
- Excellent attendance
- MUST BE LOCAL TO AUSTIN – NO TRAVELERS – NO PER DIEM
Nice To Haves
- OSHA 10 is a plus but not required.
Responsibilities
- Assembly of tubing and fittings, using couplings, clamps, bolts, screws, cement, plastic solvent, caulking, soldering, and brazing.
- D.W.V piping and Domestic water piping
- Experience plumbing in underground and rough and finish is preferred
