First year Roto-Rooter service technicians can expect top-pay, earning $55,000, on average. Pay increases quickly with each year of experience. Roto-Rooter provides an initial 12 weeks of paid sewer and drain service training, plus continuing training in our plumbing school to learn the trade. Your daily job will be providing sewer & drain service to our residential and commercial customers.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license.
• Excellent communication skills.
• A mechanical aptitude is desirable, but prior plumbing experience is not necessary.

Responsibilities

• Provide solutions to plumbing and drain problems.
• Diagnose problems and provide cost estimates to close the sale.
• Perform sewer and drain cleaning services for customers utilizing specialized Roto-Rooter equipment and tools.
• Document estimates and invoices, both in writing and on a provided smartphone.
• Collect monetary payment and move on to the next service call.
• Engage in direct interactions with vulnerable populations, including children and the elderly.
• Conduct extensive driving to customer locations in a timely and professional manner.
• Enter customers’ residences to deliver reliable service while resolving plumbing issues.
