The New York Power Authority (NYPA) is seeking an Apprentice to join our team. This position is a bargaining unit job that involves performing all required tasks related to the trade associated with the respective project under direct supervision. The Apprentice will work closely with and assist Operators of a higher grade, and will perform tasks that have been completed and signed off in the Apprenticeship Program under general supervision. The role also includes maintaining cleanliness and housekeeping of workshops and equipment in current work areas, and completing training in the Apprenticeship Program at the pace and knowledge level prescribed in the Apprentice and Training Standard.
