About The Position

The Maintenance Electrical Apprentice position at Venture Global LNG is designed for individuals seeking to gain hands-on experience and training in the field of electrical maintenance. This 12-month apprenticeship program combines classroom instruction with on-the-job training under the guidance of experienced Maintenance Electricians, equipping apprentices with the necessary skills to become proficient in their roles.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age and possess a valid driver's license before start date.
• Successful completion of the degree with a 3.0 GPA prior to start date OR Honorable discharge from any 4-year military service.
• Successful completion of a Craft Specific certification program prior to start date.
• Pass a DOT background check, drug screening, physical exam, and acquire TWIC card.
• Must be available to work a shift schedule, including nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Observing and assisting experienced Maintenance Electricians in day-to-day tasks.
• Learning how to use and understand Venture Global Documents including policies, procedures, and P&ID's.
• Recording daily activities, reporting data, and assisting in maintaining records of equipment maintenance and repairs.
• Following safety procedures and wearing appropriate personal protective equipment.
• Communicating with other Maintenance Electricians and supervisors to ensure effective learning and communication.
