The Apprentice Lineman I position is the first step of seven in the Lead Lineman training program. The position deals directly with ground-related work on overhead and underground electric service crews, including constructing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems for residential, commercial or industrial establishments. A successful candidate prioritizes safety, enjoys physical outdoor work year-round, identifies and mitigates hazardous conditions, and values teamwork. Responsibilities This position is the first of a seven-step progression to Lead Lineman. This position consists primarily of ground related work on OHD and U/G crews. Employee will be required to climb poles periodically for training purposes only. This position also includes construction, maintaining, and repairs to electrical systems for residential, commercial, or industrial establishments by performing the following duties.
