About The Position

We are looking for a skilled individual to join our team as an HVAC Apprentice. The general job duties of an HVAC apprentice are to assist the lead HVAC technicians with all job tasks including but not limited to cleaning job sites, delivering tools and materials, organizing trucks, and following safety protocols, etc. To be a successful in this role, you should have a strong working knowledge of HVAC systems and the tools related to their installation and repair. Ultimately, a top-notch HVAC apprentice must be able to effectively follow instructions and must also be punctual and passionate about learning the trade as a career path, not just a job.

Requirements

Ability to pass a background check
Ability to be insured by the company's auto insurance for driving a company vehicle
Ability to work 50 hours per week
Familiarity with all tools and equipment necessary for HVAC installation and maintenance
Ability to life up to 100 pounds, work in confined spaces, and work at heights
Lifting to shoulder and overhead occasionally up to 25 lbs.
Ability to follow instructions
Good communication and customer service skills
Self-motivated to complete assigned tasks within time constraints
Drivers Licenses

Responsibilities

Assisting with the installation of HVAC systems on commercial and residential properties
Working on roofs, ladders, and at heights
Operate a variety of hand and power tools needed for HVAC installation
Cleaning and replacing air ducts
Follow instructions for picking up and delivering parts, tools, materials, and supplies to and from the job site
Ensure all tools, materials, and equipment are in good working order and safe for use
Coordinating and communicating with team members to provide excellent customer service
Working in confined spaces (attics & crawl spaces).
