Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Must meet entry criteria for Apprenticeship Schooling.
• Enrolled in an approved Apprenticeship Program.
• Ability to quickly learn hand conduit bending for timely installations.
• Ability to use two-handed tools/equipment (e.g., cable cutters, hammer drills).
• Possess personal hand tools as directed.
• Valid driver's license and own transportation.
• Ability to operate a platform lift.
• Basic math understanding and ability to follow verbal instructions.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Detail-oriented and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist electricians by performing tasks and material handling under direct supervision.
• Keep all materials, tools, and equipment organized and maintain a clean work area.
• Comply with Company/Job Safety Requirements (OSHA).
• Report to assigned job site location on time as directed.
• Maintain and properly store tools and equipment.
• Safely handle tools, equipment, and materials.
• Assist in wire pulls and properly mount and install assigned work, conduit, wires, and strapping as directed.
• Accurately identify colors of wires and conductors.
• Work from all types of ladders and in restrictive/tight areas.
• Dig trenches using hand tools as required.
• Read labels, job site maps/directions, instruction manuals, and written instructions accurately.
