About The Position

As an Apprentice - HVAC installer, you will play a crucial role in the success of our projects. You will learn installation practices for HVAC Systems to include hanging boots, running duct (flex and hard pipe), brazing line sets, installing mechanicals, system start ups and troubleshooting for new residential and multi-family construction. Requirements

Leadership skills and the ability to empower individuals on your team
Ability to produce quality work
Excellent communication skills to be used when working with builders, general contractors, and project managers
Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures including ventilation, air conditioning, heating, and environmental control systems.
Ability to follow directions
High school diploma or equivalent
Valid driver's license
Strong work ethic that you display daily
Ability to read blueprints
Ability to work 6 AM to 5 PM Monday through Friday and an occasional Saturday
Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry heavy objects, typically up to 50–75 lbs independently
Capacity to perform physically demanding tasks such as climbing ladders, crawling into tight spaces (like crawlspaces or attics), and kneeling or crouching for extended periods
Strong hand-eye coordination and the ability to handle small tools and components with precision
Ability to stand and walk for the duration of an 8–12 hour shift, often in varying weather conditions or non-climate-controlled environments

Relevant HVAC experience is a plus

Responsibilities

Install, modify, inspect, repair, and maintain HVAC equipment according to specification and building codes
Identify hazards and safety problems applicable to the installation and operations of HVAC projects
Take necessary corrective action to fix these problems
Make decisions on the job site without interruption to the business or work and job quality
Manage multiple projects simultaneously
Build and maintain project schedules and meet deadlines
Read blueprints
Complete quality control sheets
