About The Position

The Field Operator Apprentice position at Venture Global LNG is a full-time, 12-month apprenticeship program designed to train individuals to become skilled Field Operators. The program combines classroom instruction with hands-on training under the supervision of experienced personnel, focusing on the operational aspects of liquefied natural gas production and safety protocols.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age and possess a valid driver's license prior to start date.
• Successful completion of the degree with a 3.0 GPA prior to start date OR honorable discharge from any 4-year military service.
• Successful completion of a Craft Specific certification program prior to start date.
• Pass a DOT background check, drug screening, physical exam and acquire TWIC card.
• Must be available to work a shift schedule, including nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Observing and assisting experienced Field Operators in day-to-day tasks.
• Learning how to use and understand Venture Global Documents including policies, procedures, and P&ID's.
• Recording daily activities, reporting data, and assisting in maintaining records of equipment maintenance and repairs.
• Following safety procedures and wearing appropriate personal protective equipment.
• Communicating with other Field Operators and Supervisors to ensure effective learning and communication.
