About The Position

United Trades of America is looking for LOCAL APPRENTICE ELECTRICIANS WITH CONDUIT EXPERIENCE Job Description: We are currently seeking motivated and detail-oriented individuals to join our team as an Apprentice Electricians with Conduit Experience. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in electrical work, a solid understanding of conduit systems, and a passion for learning and advancing their skills in the electrical trade.

Requirements

• Prior experience in conduit bending and installation is required.
• Familiarity with electrical systems, wiring, and terminations is a plus.
• Experience running/bending EMT conduit 1/2" to 1" is REQUIRED .
• Proficient in conduit bending, threading, and installation 1/2" to 1"
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and blueprints.
• Strong attention to detail and precision in work.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Basic understanding of electrical codes and regulations.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment, work in various weather conditions, and perform duties requiring physical strength and endurance.
• Must have hand tools and impact driver and proper PPE.
• MUST BE ABLE TO PASS A DRUG SCREEN AND BACKGROUND CHECK

Nice To Haves

• OSHA 10 or 30 certification is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Conduit Installation: Proficiently install, bend, and thread conduits of various types and sizes according to electrical specifications and project requirements.
• Blueprint Reading: Interpret electrical drawings and blueprints to determine the layout and installation of conduit systems.
• Wiring and Termination: Assist in the wiring and termination of electrical systems, ensuring compliance with local codes and safety standards.
• Material Handling: Responsible for the proper handling and storage of electrical materials, tools, and equipment.
• Collaboration: Work closely with journeyman electricians and other team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively.
• Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety regulations and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and others.
• Problem Solving: Identify and troubleshoot electrical issues, proposing effective solutions with attention to quality and efficiency.
• Continuous Learning: Actively seek opportunities for professional development and advancement within the electrical trade.
