Position Summary Join a high-performing electrical team and earn while you learn. As an Apprentice Electrician, you’ll assist with generator installations and electrical work under the supervision of licensed journeymen/master electricians, build your skills through hands-on projects, safety training, and formal apprenticeship education, and grow into increasing responsibility over time.

Requirements

  • Registered Texas Electrical Apprentice (TDLR).
  • Basic written/verbal communication skills; strong customer-service mindset.
  • Personal basic hand tools; ability to lift 50 lbs, crawl, and climb ladders.
  • Valid Driver’s License and insurable driving record; willingness to complete MVR screening per company policy.
  • Positive attitude, reliability, and a demonstrated desire to learn and adopt new technologies.

Nice To Haves

  • 1+ year experience in electrical work (commercial/residential) or applicable military experience.
  • Enrollment in a recognized apprenticeship program (e.g., IEC: ~144 hours classroom + ~2,000 hours OJT annually).

Responsibilities

  • Support turnkey generator installations, electrical services, and small projects under supervision.
  • Follow NEC (NFPA 70) guidance during installations; verify code requirements with your lead.
  • Practice NFPA 70E safe work procedures (LOTO, PPE, arc-flash/shock boundaries).
  • Complete company onboarding safety modules (e.g., OSHA 10/30, driver training) and document time via company-issued devices.
  • Care for assigned tools/vehicle; communicate maintenance needs; uphold housekeeping and site safety standards.
