About The Position

We are seeking a motivated and dedicated Apprentice Electrician to join our team As an Apprentice Electrician, you will work under the guidance of an experienced Journeyman Electrician, assisting in various electrical tasks on commercial projects. This role is ideal for those who are eager to learn and develop their skills in a dynamic work environment. Various new production lines, machine relocations, lighting upgrades and retrofits are being performed in the 3–6-month job timeline, where a wide range of experience will be gained, and quickly.

Requirements

• High School Diploma, and prior experience or coursework related to electrical systems required, or; an equivalent combination of education and experience to successfully perform the essential responsibilities and duties as listed above.
• Ability to create and maintain relationships
• High level of attention to detail
• Valid driver’s license
• Electrical knowledge
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to read, and interpret blueprints and schematics
• Ability to perform basic math skills: addition, subtraction, multiplication and division of whole numbers, fractions, and decimals
• Logical thinker
• Strong problem-solving ability
• Basic understanding of power tools and their safe operations

Responsibilities

• Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment.
• Work with low voltage, & high voltage systems, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
• Utilize power tools and hand tools effectively while adhering to safety protocols.
• Read and interpret schematics and blueprints to understand project requirements.
• Support industrial electricians in troubleshooting electrical issues using tools such as an ohmmeter.
• Run conduit to newly placed machines.
• Install new LED lighting in manufacturing facility.
• Assist in Production areas as requested.
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by Management.
