Experienced Apprentice Electrician
About The Position
We are seeking a motivated Apprentice Electrician with at least 2 years of hands-on experience to support our fabrication shop operations. This role includes electrical assembly, installation, and maintenance work in a fast-paced industrial environment. Position Overview As an Apprentice Electrician, you will work alongside experienced electricians and production teams to assist with wiring, electrical assembly, and troubleshooting of equipment used in our fabrication shop. This is a great opportunity to continue developing your skills while gaining experience in an industrial setting.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of electrical experience (apprenticeship or equivalent)
- Basic knowledge of electrical systems, tools, and safety standards
- Ability to read electrical schematics and blueprints
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Reliable attendance and team-oriented mindset
Nice To Haves
- Experience in a fabrication or industrial environment is a plus
Responsibilities
- Assist with electrical installation and wiring of fabrication equipment and components
- Perform electrical assembly of panels, controls, and shop systems
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical issues in machinery and shop equipment
- Support preventative maintenance and upgrades
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Follow all safety codes and company procedures
