About The Position

The Apprentice Bartender position at Golden Nugget is a temporary, part-time role focused on assisting bartenders in providing excellent guest service, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring the bar is well-stocked. Requirements

• High School Diploma.
• 2 years' experience bartending and/or bar back/porter, preferably in banquets.
• Minimum age requirement is 21.
• Must possess a TAM card and Health Card.

Responsibilities

• Greet and converse with guests to suggest or receive cocktail orders.
• Assist in preparing and serving cocktails to customers.
• Clean and organize the bar to beverage department standards.
• Prepare orders to replenish stock at the bar to pre-determined par levels.
• Account for and secure all bar items and supplies during and at the end of the shift.
• Know applicable liquor laws and act accordingly.
• Make and redeem change for bartenders and guests using bar top slot machines according to established policies.
• Adhere to all company and departmental policies and procedures.
• Assist in monthly inventory.
• Report any equipment in need of repair to management.
