About The Position

Summary Statement: The Apprentice Bartender is responsible for servicing the guests in a courteous and professional manner, while assisting bartenders throughout the course of business. This role ensures bar areas are always cleaned, organized, and properly stocked with prepped ingredients. Primary Job Duties: – Includes but is not limited to: Greet and welcome all guests in a professional manner. Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of the bar area. Ensure the bar is properly stocked with supplies necessary for service. Replenish ice coolers, garnish trays, straws, and napkins holders. Ensure bar equipment and supplies are clean and in working order. Anticipate the guests' needs and respond appropriately with a sense of urgency. Perform all opening and closing duties based upon shift assignment. Ensure all Resorts World core values and property and department standards are implemented and applied. Obtain and maintain position-specific licensing. Use personal device/ cellular phone for job related operational tasks, job duties, review company documents, etc. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications: – Includes but is not limited to: Ability to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends and holidays. Ability to effectively communicate in English. Polished appearance and demeanor. Excellent customer service skills. Ability to obtain & maintain full knowledge and understanding of company and department rules and regulations, policies and procedures. Preferred: Basic understanding of bartender work and/or drink preparation. Minimum Education and Experience: Must be 21 years of age At least six months experience working in a similar bar or restaurant setting Certificates, Licenses, Regulations: Proof of eligibility to work in the United States Position required licenses Physical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by a team member to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
