Kickstart Your Career in Automation with Haleon Automation is the backbone of modern manufacturing—integrating robotics, electronics, mechanics, and control engineering to keep production running smoothly. At Haleon, we’re seeking an Automation Apprentice ready to dive into this exciting field. Are you a recent high school graduate with a technical mindset and ambition to learn how to design, maintain, and optimize systems that improve lives worldwide? If so, the Haleon Apprentice Program is your opportunity to turn curiosity into expertise. This entry-level program combines hands-on experience with classroom learning, allowing you to earn nationally recognized qualifications while working at our Lincoln Manufacturing site. You’ll attend college part-time for theory-based coursework while gaining practical skills on-site.

Requirements

  • Must be 18 years old by August 1, 2025.
  • Must have a high school diploma or equivalent by June 2026.
  • Willing to enroll in a partnering community college or technical institution for an Associate’s Degree in Electrical Systems Technology.
  • Ability to commute daily to the Haleon worksite and instruction facility.
  • Completed High School Algebra and Geometry or equivalent.
  • College students with 30 credits or less are eligible.

Responsibilities

  • Study toward a fully funded, nationally recognized qualification while gaining paid work experience.
  • Spend most of your week training with in-house industry experts and part of your week in classes.
  • Rotate through various engineering teams, including manufacturing, packaging, maintenance utilities, and automation.
  • Develop mechanical, electrical, control, and instrumentation skills.
  • Learn to maintain production, packaging, and service equipment.
  • Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot breakdowns.
  • Assist with designing, installing, and testing new equipment.
