About The Position

Miedema Appraisals is seeking a dedicated individual to conduct appraisals, which includes traveling to various client sites, inspecting, photographing, and documenting assets, and performing research for various clients. The position offers a combined base pay and commission income earning potential ranging from $40,000 to $150,000. The training will be conducted in the Byron Center office, and the role requires providing asset summaries as needed to clients and the business president.

Requirements

• Excellent customer service skills
• Prefer 2-5 years’ experience in industrial machines or industrial setting
• Knowledge of a variety of industrial machinery
• College degree
• Computer skills in MS Office (Word/Excel), internet, and Outlook
• Dependable
• Self-driven
• Previous appraisal experience is encouraged but not required
• Organized
• Ability to adapt to various locations and situations
• Sociable
• Attention to detail

Responsibilities

• Appraising a variety of equipment – Training Provided
• Conduct onsite inspections of items that need to be appraised
• Travel throughout the United States for client site visits
• Perform office research
• Submit reports for management review
• Use strict Miedema Appraisal format
• Communicate with a large variety of clients
• Perform office tasks as requested
• Knowledge of MAMG companies
