About The Position

At a Glance: 1-800Accountant is growing and we are looking for sales development representatives to schedule appointments for senior sales reps. This position is a crucial part of our business. You will be provided warm leads to call. This is an in-office position located in Largo, FL. Hours are Mon-Fri 9am-5:30pm. Appointment Setters are vital to the success of any growth company. Its a great place to start a career in sales. An SDR is someone who is responsible for generating new sales for the company, as well as providing excellent customer service to the clients. About the role: Complete a PAID TRAINING program that is designed to set you up for success. The training is 2 days long and consists of listening to live calls and role playing. Contact and qualify small-business owners to schedule their initial interaction with our sales team utilizing leads that 1-800Accountant provides Build value in our consultation by educating clients about the tax implications of business ownership as well as upcoming tax deadlines Heavy phones in a fast paced environment, outbound calling +300 calls daily, comfortable speaking professionally on the phone Lead one-call-close appointments via telephone Who we are: 1-800Accountant is the largest and fastest growing virtual accounting firm in the nation! Requirements

  • Professional phone presentation, excellent listening skills, and strong writing skills
  • Previous appointment setting experience is preferred but training will be provided
  • Ability to read a script as part of the interview process
  • Be enthusiastic and have a passion for helping people
  • Have a strong work ethic and thrive in a performance-based culture
  • High School Diploma, Associates Degree Preferred
  • Must be able to work Monday-Friday 9:00am-5:30pm, and are able to pass a background check
