About The Position

Tops Markets is accepting applications for current and future part-time openings. A brief description of each department is listed below. Requirements

• Must be able to read, write and communicate effectively with customers and fellow associates.

Responsibilities

• Make a positive, friendly and lasting impression on customers as a cashier or cart clerk at the front end.
• Slice, price, package, and display baked goods in the bakery department.
• Fulfill customer requests for deli and/or prepared foods products in the Deli/Carryout Cafe.
• Ensure that product on the shelves is stocked and ready for customer purchase in the General Merchandise department.
• Create and maintain product displays throughout the store and ensure the backroom is organized in the Grocery department.
• Ensure meat departments are stocked and product is properly stored, rotated, weighed, labeled, and displayed.
• Ensure produce departments are stocked, product is properly stored, rotated, and prepared for customer purchase.
• Ensure seafood departments are stocked and product is properly stored, rotated, weighed, labeled, and displayed.
