About The Position

The University of Arkansas - Pulaski Technical College at North Little Rock is seeking part-time adjunct faculty to provide a quality learning experience for students. Faculty will perform instruction-related duties in accordance with the college's mission, policies, and procedures. The successful hire will teach the Applied Technical Mathematics course, which covers algebraic operations, equations, geometry, trigonometry, and solutions of oblique triangles. Requirements

• A Master's degree with 18 subject-specific college graduate hours from an accredited university.
• Thorough knowledge of the teaching field.
• Commitment to high academic standards and student success.
• Excellent written, oral communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work with mathematical concepts related to trade industries.
• Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.

Nice To Haves

• Four years of teaching experience.
• Trade Industry experience.
• OSHA certification.

Responsibilities

• Teach at the undergraduate level.
• Maintain office hours and establish a campus presence.
