Requirements

Masterâs or Ph.D. in Aerospace Engineering, Applied Physics, Optical Sciences, or relevant fields.
12+ years of experience in satellite system design with a focus on constellation engineering.
Deep understanding of first-principles physics including thermodynamics and orbital mechanics.
Proficiency in Python and C++ for simulation tool development.
Experience solving complex engineering challenges involving thermal and optical constraints.
Hands-on with industry-standard analysis tools.
Excellent communication skills for bridging theoretical and practical applications.

Responsibilities

Lead the 'Phase 0' and 'Phase A' architecture of new satellite missions, defining orbital parameters and system requirements.
Invent and patent novel solutions for optical payloads, thermal management, and communication links.
Build high-fidelity, first-principles simulations for trade studies on mission feasibility.
Publish internal whitepapers and external patent applications to secure technological advantages.
Contribute to technical aspects of external proposals for satellite missions.
