Requirements

• 3+ years of building models for business application experience.
• PhD, or Master's degree and 4+ years of CS, CE, ML or related field experience.
• Experience programming in Java, C++, Python or related language.
• Experience in algorithms and data structures, parsing, numerical optimization, data mining, parallel and distributed computing, high-performance computing.

Nice To Haves

• Experience using Unix/Linux.
• Experience in professional software development.

Responsibilities

• Apply state of art natural language processing and computer vision research to video centric digital media.
• Create a strong environment for applied science to recruit, retain and develop top talent.
• Lead a team of applied scientists and direct the research direction.
• Create roadmaps for forward-looking research and communicate them to senior leadership.
• Hire and develop applied scientists and grow the science team to meet customer needs.

• Base pay ranges from $136,000/year to $223,400/year depending on geographic market.
